Tooth Stem Cells Preservation
Every year, exciting breakthroughs in Tooth Stem Cell (TSC) research push the boundaries of modern medicine. Stem cells are now used to treat over 100 diseases and conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, spinal cord injuries, bone and liver disorders, cartilage repair, and leukemia — with even more possibilities emerging.
At Little GiGi, we work closely with Malaysia’s renowned stem cell storage companies to offer families the opportunity to preserve their child’s Tooth Stem Cells — safely and painlessly collected from naturally shed milk teeth, helping safeguard their future health.
What Are Stem Cells ?
Stem cells are special, undifferentiated cells capable of multiplying endlessly and transforming into various types of body cells. This unique ability allows them to repair and replace damaged tissues, making them invaluable in modern medicine.
Today, healthy stem cells are used to treat and regenerate parts of the body affected by injury or disease, with most therapies focused on delivering large numbers of healthy, compatible cells to promote natural healing and recovery.
Why Store Your Child's Stem Cells
- Stem Cells from your child’s tooth can one day improve or even save their life.
- Storing your own Stem Cells means they are always there for you. No need to search for donor – your child’s perfect biological material is there. Waiting.
- Using own Stem Cells means there is no risk of rejection – so it is the safest way to go.
- For successful treatment applications we need young cells and preserving cells from your Child’s milk teeth means preserving them in their prime.
- Stem cell medicine will become mainstream medicine in the very near future.
- The chances of your Child receiving a Stem Cell treatment throughout their life is, according to Harris review from 2007, as high as 1 in 3.
- Stem cells from teeth have wide potential for therapeutic application – they form nerves, tissue, cartilage and develop into other types.
Tooth Stem Cell Storage – Process

RESEARCH & PLAN
Storing your child’s Biological material with the intention of future Medical use is a big and important step and it is important you have all the information you need to make a decision.
Talk to a professional at Little GiGi and we will explain all the details about the process and answer all of your questions.

EXTRACTION & SENDING TOOTH TO LABORATORY
In this step, we plan the extraction and arrange transport to the processing facility as quickly as possible. We usually collect naturally loosening teeth, making the process safe and non-invasive.
The tooth is shipped in a special kit with solution to keep the stem cells alive. The entire process is managed by Little GiGi experts, and you will be informed at every step.

PROCESING & CRYO STORAGE
At the laboratory, scientists extract the dental pulp (the live part of the tooth) and begin expanding the cells. The team closely monitors cell count, viability, and any signs of contamination.
The process takes 2–3 weeks, resulting in healthy, viable cells free of contamination. These are then stored in vials in liquid nitrogen tanks at about -196°C.

CERTIFICATE & RELEASE OF CELLS
After the process is complete you will receive a Certificate with which your child can always access the cells. The cells will be safely stored and will wait for your child until needed.
