Dr. Loo Ping Ling is a Dental Sleep Medicine and Oral Myology Specialist who combines science, compassion, and innovation to transform smiles. She graduated from Malaysia National University (UKM) and went on to earn advanced postgraduate qualifications from Graduate School University (U.S.) and Tufts University Boston (U.S.).
She is an active member of the International Association of Oral Myology (IAOM) and an International Certificant of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM). Among the very few dental surgeons proficient in myofunctional frenuloplasty (tongue-tie surgery), Dr. Loo received her training under the world-renowned Dr. Soroush Zaghi (The Breathe Institute, U.S.) and the Tongue Tie Institute (Australia).
Founder of Little GiGi™ Dental Clinic
In 2013, she founded Little GiGi Dental Clinic, a children-friendly dental clinic where little ones look forward to their visits. The clinic combines professional care with a fun and relaxing atmosphere, ensuring every child’s first dental experience is joyful, not fearful.
Today, Little GiGi is recognized as a pioneer in myofunctional treatment and children’s dentistry, working closely with specialists from Australia, the U.S., China, Finland, and Taiwan. It is proudly the first and only LM (Finland) Certified Children Orofacial Development Management Center and the first Myobrace (Australia) Certified Provider in Southeast Asia.
Creator of the LittleBrace™ Braces System
Driven by her passion for preventive orthodontics, Dr. Loo went on to develop the LittleBrace™ system — an exclusive early-intervention treatment designed to gently guide natural tooth eruption and alignment during a child’s critical growth phase. This innovative system helps prevent future orthodontic complications and promotes healthy jaw and facial development.
Dr. Loo believes that every child’s dental journey should begin in the right place, at the right time, and in the right way. Her mission is to ensure children not only have healthy teeth, but also gain the confidence and knowledge to maintain a lifetime of beautiful smiles.
